A Simulated Game Day is tremendous fun for both experienced shots and complete novices. They offer all the excitement of a traditional driven game day, but at far less expense and everyone is guaranteed to get have loads of shooting in various stunning locations. We tend to run them in the Spring and Summer to enable you to enjoy some great outdoor sport and if you are a game shot to keep your eye in for the upcoming shooting season. The days are all managed by E. J. Churchill, who are based on the Estate in any event, and they can provide all the professional instructors, guns and other equipment.
The Estate lends itself perfectly to simulated game shooting due to its steep, wooded valleys and high hedges. Home to a first class driven pheasant and partridge shoot, we endeavour to keep our simulated drives as close to the real thing as possible. To this end Mark Marshall, a World Champion shot, will set the course to ensure our targets are fun, varied, challenging and mimic the traits of live quarry as accurately as possible. The targets are fired by a battery of automatic computer-controlled clay pigeon traps. The days are suitable for groups up to twentry people and we can provide all the necessary guns and equipment.
Guests meet at Fryers Farm Shooting Lodge in the morning for coffee and a hearty breakfast before drawing pegs and heading to the first of five drives for the day. Elevenses are served after the second drive in the grounds of West Wycombe House and guests are given the opportunity to relax and soak up the atmosphere of the stunning Palladian architecture and landscaped gardens. We stop for lunch back at Fryers Farm, before heading out for the two afternoon drives in the afternoon. At the end of the day, guests will return to Fryers Farm for a well earned drink and afternoon tea.click here to contact west wycombe corporate entertainment for more information
